Stopped by for a slice after a years-long hiatus and their slices still hit the spot. Great specialty slice selection as well. Glad the pizza is as good as I remembered.
Pizza Pete's is good! I got a slice of pizza, garlic knots (5) with marinara, and a side of ranch all for $8! I was impressed with how quick my food was ready too. I know it's just another pizza shop in ny but it was pretty good! I will say the garlic knots were probably not worth getting and were a little dry. Totally get the pizza though!
Great staff--friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Nice assortment of pizza by the slice, too. Especially fond of their 'meatball' pizza (often called lasagna pizza elsewhere) that has ground meat, ricotta and mozz. Chicken pizza (with cubes of regular breaded chicken or buffalo style) are also a favorite. Even their plain pizza is good. In the unlikely event that they don't have what you want already made and you're willing to wait a bit, they can turn a plain slice into whatever suits your fancy.
Tasty NYC Pizza and friendly. Good descent price. We went there while we were waiting for the Bus. Inside and Outside seating are available. It's old fashioned. bathroom is available for the customers. Open late.
Definitely lovin' Pizza Pete's. A friend introduced me to it and now it's the only Pizza shop I want to visit. If you go expecting some lavish or beautiful restaurant, this isn't your place. However, if you go wanting to get a really good pie then give them a shot. Their special pizza with veggies and sausage is super tasty. My son loves their cheese pizza. Everything has a really good flavor. And the prices are good. $24 for the large special. The guys who work there are super nice, too.
